BIO

After her English Literature degree at the University of Oxford, Kasia spent the mid-2000s assisting London fashion stylists across visual projects like editorial shoots for Dazed, catwalk shows for Armani, music videos for Primal Scream, and parties for Moët. Photographers included Nick Knight and Rankin.

She started in journalism at The Times, covering homes and interiors for five years. During the last two, Kasia simultaneously studied for a masters in Design History at the Royal College of Art and V&A Museum. After graduating, she began working with forecasting agency The Future Laboratory, mapping innovation across design, fashion, culture and lifestyle. At this time she also started contributing to Wallpaper and House & Garden.

In 2013 Kasia became the editor of Beirut-based publication Selections, tasked with remodelling it from a lifestyle glossy into an arts magazine. She overhauled its identity and editorial content, building it into a meaningful platform for culture in the Middle East. During this period she interviewed many artists, including two favourites Etel Adnan and Lynda Benglis, and commissioned articles on important voices, notably an interview with Zaha Hadid by Head of Architecture and Design at the Royal College of Art, Hilary French.

In 2016 her first book, The House of Beauty and Culture, was published by the Institute of Contemporary Arts. Somewhere between an archival zine and an academic essay, it wrote the history of a radical 1980s crafts collective through sociopolitical perspectives. Launched with Idea Books at Dover Street Market London, it was stocked at Tate and MoMA and is in the collections of key libraries including Harvard and Yale.

Through the late 2010s and early 2020s Kasia contributed to an array of publications, from establishment icons Financial Times, Vogue and World of Interiors to diverse independents Disegno, Ibraaz, and Under The Influence. She’s spoken at the V&A, Selfridges, and Royal College of Art, and taught at University of the Arts London. Besides journalism, current projects include editorial direction, communications consultancy, book editing, and mentorship initiatives with young refugee women
